Growing Green Family Farms is located in Anderson South Carolina where we utilize no-till growing practices without the use of any pesticides or herbicides. We also have a farm located in West Greenville and Travelers Rest to better serve our community. Our focus is to grow heirloom and flavorful varieties of produce to offer an experience that is both pleasing to the taste buds and the eyes. Our Beginnings.. Nathan Vannette grew up on his family’s 5 wooded acres in West Michigan. Being homeschooled gave him the freedom to explore his love of nature. By the age of 10, Nathan started his first vegetable and flower garden, paving the way for further experiments that lead to the start of Growing Green Family Farm. In 2010, with the help of his family, Nathan founded Growing Green Family Farms and began selling hydroponic produce at local farmers markets. In 2014, Chris (Nathan's brother-in-law) joined Growing Green Family Farms as a co-owner, working together the business has continued to grow. After many years of vacationing in Upstate South Carolina, Nathan, Chris, and their families relocated there in 2015. Nathan and Chris love being a part of this community! Today, Growing Green has continued to grow to meet your needs for local pesticide-free produce while being good stewards of the land.
