Firsthand Foods is a women-owned, mission-driven meat business based in Durham, North Carolina. We sell pasture-raised, local pork, beef and lamb sourced from a network of remarkable North Carolina farmers all of whom raise their animals humanely outdoors on pasture. Firsthand Foods is owned by Jennifer Curtis and Tina Prevatte Levy, who share a passion for using business as a tool for social and environmental good. Together they have built an innovative business that is helping to sustain small family farms, direct food dollars to rural communities, create jobs, preserve farmland and regenerate soil quality.
